No one is a freeloader! Playing helps bring awareness to the game. Kindness in game helps to better the yoworld environment. And....helpfulness on the forums increases player moral.

this forum is public. anyone can read it even if they do not play this game. this is a privacy issue that will keep some of us from spending as much as we would have.

Well this poll clearly shows there are more non supporters than supporters on here. By supporter I mean someone who buys cash or coin in the game. I hope Greg does see this. He needs to know there are petty people in here who do not like to see anyone get anything they don't get. They do and will make up very creative reasons for their point of view trying to convince everyone it is for the good of the game. And they will work to silence anyone who does not agree with them - no insult or attempt at character assassination is unheard of.

That's quite a conclusion to jump to Adeline. . . Most of the people I've seen, who voiced discourse that wasn't in favor of the badges, are people who have a badge as it is... and commonly do support the game. Said people just aren't comfortable with their spending habit being worn as their forum appearance.

Edited to say..... I am against the badges and I spent a lot of money this past month because i needed to make some coins.

It does not. It shows the majority of the people who voted do not want the badges....

EDIT TO ADD: if you look at any given thread, especially the badge sticky thread, you can see that badge holders clearly are the majority here on the forums (whether it be silver,bronze, or gold). Those who don't have a badge b/c they haven't purchased yc in the past 30 days are the minority on these forums.

How are people being silenced? Are there death threats? Are there threats of shunning? I have been here a lot in the past few days and all i see is people debating a point.

Why do I keep seeing posts from you that read as if you're better than players without badges? Many, many players haven't purchased yc/coins in the last 30 days that doesn't mean they won't tomorrow or even next week. These badges don't give anyone the right to judge others.

It is the same thing again. You don't agree with someone, you are in gang, a bully or a troll. Now we have a new name to add to the list. Non supporter. It is so hard for people to realize that not everyone is going to agree. I don't get though, why they feel the need to turn themselves into a victim time and time again. There is no player here who has any power over another player (granted some think they do ) so yeah it is just overdramatization of when you aren't agreed with as usual.

All this poll will do is show a majority against the display of ranked badges. Because only 5 percent of players buy yocash like Greg Stated when he outlined costs of running this game.
So out of 5 percent who purchase Yocash there will only be a small percentage who like to display their wealth.
Logical Conclusion : Lots of people against it or hate it :p
I say leave it be it can be turned off to display a generic supporter icon. I prefer to see those who wish to Lord it over others...
Its like standing outside Altons and seeing the people with wings bows and other stuff having a go at those dressed in "Rags"
