Its not always about bullying. I just want a bit more clarity on warnings and length of warnings... do we even get warnings and if we do, do they expire? Sometimes some of us are not perfect or we might have different ideas on what is bad or not. I dont think the word hell is bad, but some people scream about it. is it allowed or not?[/quote]

I think it's perfectly fine just as long as you don't use it in a threatening matter

...runs to msg box and check...
... ... ...
...no warnings ....
...either in the old forums never had one...

...but to say for generality...
...in every case a two way conversation on arguments is always a good way...

I understand kindness and courtesy and all of that, really i do. I just think that sometimes a bit of two way conversation can help us out. And, what if we got a warning one day for something and then two months down the line, we said something that the mods felt crossed the line? Would that old warning be held against us? Is there a points system or are we at the mercy of a moderators bad day? I dont expect to rack up warnings... i got 3 in over 12000 posts in the past, but a bit of clarity on this would be nice since we cant really PM you guys.

You can PM all Vikings with the exception of Gary, Greg, and Clinton if you have any questions in regards to a warning. :)

I have if a question too.... if someone reports your post does it put up a red flag or something in mod land? ..and what if lots of people who are friends with the complainer all report too.. ? How do you know if what you posted was reported a multitude of times? I hope I don't feel I have to stop posting because something I said is taken the wrong way.

If a post is reported we get notified and review each one.
You won't be banned or given a warning if there was no valid reason for the report in the first place.

Thank you... I appreciate your very prompt response. I know there are cases when a discussion turns into something unpleasant... I just hate it when friends all decide to jump in and make the situation worse.
I would hate to be a moderator... :(

Definitively defined and consistent "punishment", for lack of a better word, would go a long way in helping to keep things fair and running smoothly...

what if we like punishment?

  if the Vikings are dishing out the fun kind we can keep them pretty busy!

Well imho of course, if you get a warning.. its a polite way of telling you to smarten up and shape up and maybe tread lightly with the words that you type in here from that day forth. One warning really should be enough. I don't think there is room for negotiations here. and/or the need for a point system. Im thinking BVG means business and they don't fool around to much. ;) :P

Submitting a ticket may be the route to go if clarification is really needed.

edited to add: I see this has been addressed by a viking :)

i read the rules

Posting Guidelines:

• Keep posts related to YoWorld unless you're in Off Topic.

• Be kind and courteous to others.

• Non-English posts must be accompanied by an English translation in the same post.
• No discussion of cheating or exploits.

i am a bit confused, if a player is having a problem with a feature and you sent in a ticket and post the suggestion to help others by BVG is there a problem with that? reason i asked i do not see anything saying we are not allowed to do this

Great to know there's a few moderators we can pm if need be.

Did we see a picture of Viking Clint in the Dinner Thread? Trying to put a face to the name.

No worries John, I remember what you look like. ;)
