it's not about how many coins or searching, or 08 customes (I've had them all at one time or another) it is deeper... But most importantly a great way for BVG to end the debate and allow us all to enjoy the "New Game"

A part of this game is buying and selling, and that is a BIG part. Re-releasing every single item that was released before they bought the game just is not going to happen

I did agree with this until yesterday. One re-release is all it takes for me.

Well as far as I know it was officially released. And item rarity means a lot to me. I've had my cross from back in 09 and never even wanted to sell it. It was a gift from a friend that quit to get married. In my opinion it was one of the nicest rare items out there but not no more.

I had two Celtic Crosses. One I received as a gift from a friend and the other one I bought a week or so ago because I had the thought, "... what if they don't re-release them?". I then, out of the blue, sold the cross I had bought a week ago for how much I had bought it for originally... I feel bad for the person I sold to now.

I didn't lose anything on the Cross but it still makes me mad that it was re-released... and now I think that it's only fair if other things are re-released too...

I'm sure you remember how adamant I was about things not being re-released in the past... but re-releasing the cross, even though I didn't lose anything, really made me give up on that.

I still respect the opinions of those who don't want re-releases but this is just how I feel now...

I see where you are coming from but I think re-releases would cause a lot of rupture and upset throughout the game...

Yes you can, but there are 1000s of items that make the game fun to look for and buy/sell, the game would be nothing bur extremely boring if they were all released. And the game would lose SO MANY players and I know that for sure if everything was re-released. My point is sadly for you and everyone who wants these things re-released, it is not going to happen

when you say everything do you mean in the form of re-release or everything like hollywood & christmas stuff? because if you do i dont think its a good idea im happy with just re-released items coming back not other items

BVG are still new as owners. I think they released that statement too early. A lot of decorators are asking for it as an easier way to decorate. It's not about begging for items, but it's just not fun to decorate anymore when every lamp, table, chair is impossible to find. And you can't check it in edit mode. It will take ages to create one room of a discontinued theme, let alone a house. Takes out of the fun of decorating.

It's not too late to restate their re-releases point of view. They can say something like "After in-depth investigation, we would like to help our decorators".

Maybe some will leave because they won't trust BVG, regarding a statement that they won't re-release wearables and furniture collectibles. However, I doubt it would be a massive amount of people leaving. It's not like they actually re-release the 2008 costumes etc. I think people can understand that BVG are still new at this, and still learning the wants of players of all kinds. There's a need to benefit not just collectors and buyers/sellers, but decorators too.

It is not only about people leaving, BVG gave us their word and I still have 100% trust in them that they will not re-release items that players have a fair chance at getting

They also always say that they take our feedback. And many decorators suggest it.

Well this was all fun while it lasted. And yeah I had a change of heart on re-releases. And it all boils down to the people that wanted the Cross back so bad either they don't spend real money on the game or they didn't get a chance to get it but yet they don't want their items re-released. I just think it's only fair for everyone to get what they want by re-releasing it all. And bvg could start over with all new bvg items. Anyways i'm off here. Have a great evening all :lol:

BVG will not release any item that everyone had a fair chance at getting, so yes it is true

To release ONE item Once a month is not the same are releasing the line...

what it would do it make the game approachable to new members ....

So as a player that has already lost so much because of the issues with MySpace I can tell you that what is important isnt having it all but having those things that YOU think are special, it might not be the rarest or most expensive ..... but what do you think a new person would feel like to find out that it is not for sale by the game and you have to hunt around for it, then to be faced w/ prices that are out of reach with our current pay scale ....... how long would you stay in here?
