And what's priced right to a player base that has literally billions of coins/items they can get to if need be?
Serious question.
Anthony (102235402) wrote:Alright, this may seem crazy, but lets say the new items continue being priced as they are, what happens to the coins you spend after you buy something? They vanish.
More and more people buy these new items, that over time, the overall amount of coins in the game will decrease, because of these higher prices in newer coin items. The result? Many will have no choice, but to begin selling at lower prices, because in a not so distant future, the average YoWorlder will no longer have even 1m coins on them, especially if the amount of new players outnumber the older ones.
Now sure, more and more coins are added into the game, with daily log ins, and clocking in at the factory, but is that enough? Daily, you can make lets say a maximum of 3000 coins? But a sweater, in stores now costs 9k.
I mean, I am no economist, and this may not make sense, to you, or it may not even play out like this, but the way I look at it, this might work out like so.
Feel free to call me crazy now.

Problem there is most people didn't buy tons of those 2yc unicorns to sell later. Most people didn't overbuy the yc items in those themes to sell later, because most people were starting to believe there wasn't going to be a later.Samberg (185737325) wrote:Autumn Glory (105171200) wrote:Here's a question.....do you think the yocash rate will ever drop below 10k to 1? Yes. If all the coins in the game were wiped to 0.
Other than that? No.
I don't even know why anyone would yocash deal in today's game, it's pointless and a waste of peoples real money.
As long as people played during mini park, playhouse, flapper, enchanted china, fairytale fantasy and bought yocash items, they had no need to deal today.
Take a 2yc unicorn from FF and sell it for 1m coins, rinse repeat...why go out and buy 100yc to make 3m or so when you could sell the equivalent of 6yc for the same purpose?

with 5% of the players buying yocash, and finding out that it's only 5% ... the rates will rise more....

You are not crazy, buddy, but you are missing one very important piece of the puzzle which hasn't been determined yet: What does BVG have in store for earning coins in the future...and what will the potential level of earnings be? This is critical and until we know, we can't really speculate on the points you've raised here.

Ok, I have 11m coins just sitting around...you know how long it would take to deplete my coins?
I'm sure I'm not the only person who has 10+ million and I'm sure there are others who have 100+ million.
9k is a drop in the bucket. Or less.

it has to be done, new players have no chance. halloween is in 3 months players will need the coinage

All adding more coins into the economy does is make older items even more unobtainable for newer players and pads the older players already bloated coin amounts.

It would still take a while to decrease his 11m with 25k hairs.
Let's say that theres a theme 4 hairs each 25k, clothing totalled up is 100k. Thats 200k each theme, 5 themes 1M. Plus there are others with way more ...

And I'm sorry, but good for them. If you want YoCash items, you have two options: 1. Buy YoCash or 2. Pay the rates and keep the YoCash dealers in business. Either way, it's good for BVG and they get the support they need. Sorry be harsh.
Oh, there is a third option: 3. Do without the item.
Sorry I know this seems super harsh to some, but it's the reality of the situation.
