I dont know if it should be high just because we spend money on it. I think it should sell at the going rate. OP, I do agree... the rates are madness, but its the give me everything now mentality that is driving it in my opinion. Why would I sell at a rate I would be willing to pay if the market rate is more than triple that? I would for my friends, because they wouldnt go and resell for a huge profit. I wouldnt for a stranger. If i sell my yc, I am not doing it for fun, i am doing it to raise coins. Its a business deal and so i of course want to get the same price as everyone else. I gave away a belt yesterday and would do so again if i felt like it, but when I sell, I want to make a profit.
I stand by my idea that if buyers would wait and not pay the crazy rates, prices would go down. Of course, prices may drop anyway because people dont need to spend so much on Limes, crowns and duty belts :D Thats another reason Yc rates are so high.... dealers deal to be able to afford the rares and unreleased. As those items go higher, so do the YC rates... and then items go higher to pay the yc rates and so on... Like the song about the old lady who swallowwed a fly! LOL

That's why I always buy my own yocash. I'd rather buy it than pay these outrageous prices!

It's always good to wait a few day also. Let say the first 3 to 4 days ppl pay really high prices. Those ppl stop spending, then you see a lot of overpriced items sitting in the AH. So after a few more days, prices start to drop. Unless it's like a 3 day sale or something like that.

Indeed there is! :) I bought 660 yocash because I couldn't be bothered with the fuss of finding a yocash dealer

Personally I also find 40k:1 a little high, especially considering that 2 weeks ago 15k:1 to 20k:1 seemed to be the most common Yocash rate range.
However I do understand why it keeps increasing.
On the one hand you have players who spend their real money for YoCash.
Of course they could sell lower, but why do that,if some players, who do not spend real money on YoWorld, buy from them and then turn around and re-sell for a profit?
So what happens is that the YC dealer rather makes the profit themselves than assisting a non-YC buyer to make profit off of them.
And on the other hand many non-YC buyers are extremely impatient and rather spend way more than the current going rate than wait a few days, because they crave to own an item right away.

Personally I have bought YC before, but not too often, and it was about 2 -2 1/2 years ago. Usually I'd just buy items for myself and set some YC as prize for contests I hosted. A couple times I dealt a few Yocash and stuck to the going rate at that time.
These days my current situation doesn't allow me to buy YoCash.
Hopefully that will change again one of these days.
