This is how I feel. I gifted about 10 pairs of lime jeans when they were released. One of the people I gifted pm'ed me no more than 5 minutes after getting his pair asking if I could send a purple retro crown too. Then the person seemed kind of upset when I replied that I wouldn't. At the time, the individual had a bunch of threads going on in the wishlist section. Seems to me there should be some sort of quota on asking for items. Siggies, Wishlist threads, outright pm'ing. It's a little much. Anyway, I'm done gifting random people now :twisted:

Makes me feel the same kind of icky I feel when my nieces tell me they want cash for their birthday or for Christmas...I just dislike it.

i gifted an expensive item to a player they had to have it. after it was gifted he changed it to another all time gift he had to have. its does anger you in a way. kinds feels like you have sucker written on your forehead. i do not think if you wish for something it needs to be on that thread and not on your siggy

You can't hate someone for wishing for an item!! Wishing for am item is better than being in the actual game harassing people for stuff.

They can wish all they like, no-one is saying otherwise - but it seems the issue which resonates with a number of us is the ever changing wishlists that appears in a player's signature... we have a Wishlist Contest and Giveaway section for a reason. That's the proper place to do as much wishing as a player likes!

Its fine to wish for things. I think the point being made is some are far too greedy about it. They are given multiple high priced items but its never enough for them. They should be grateful for what they have, not always wanting more.

Wishing for an item is fine. Wishing for 2 is fine. Wishing for 5 is fine. Wishing for 10 really expensive things saying that those are your OMG wishes in your siggy and then GETTING those items gifted to you, THEN immediately changing the items you got to something else is NOT ok IMO. But to each their own.
