I just met the nicest people at the Alton's.

Conversation was funny and polite and mature....we all had a bunch of laughs and
also had so much in common.

So many nice people from around the world.

Love hanging at the Alton's.

Well i totally disagree with that. The noobs are worst than established players ....And the children. hell i don`t go out when it gets dark ?

altons can be pretty amusing and pleasant. its where i meet my best buds and spend most of my yo time. you just gotta block out the annoyances and the negative. like anywhere else :mrgreen:

the change ive noticed, obviously, is that now we have ALL the kids on the same servers. the beggars/spammers seem very young. i dont mind the noobies, i think its great that we have tonnes of new players. but sadly when they are kids, they can kind of be a pain

but they havent run me off yet :mrgreen:

i still enjoy my time. its what you make of it

I've met a lot of nice people at Alton's. Last night was not one of those nights :lol:

I was at a forum party where there was a pool, so my yo had on some of the new swimwear. A friend then signed on so I joined him to chat, when I went to him he was at Alton's.

There was a female there that was really offended that I would be out in "public" in the swimwear. She really had a problem with it and kept telling me how ugly and slutty my toon was and that I was trying too hard. :lol:

I don't know if she thought I was trying to pick up Yo-men or what? After her several minute rant about my slutty toon she finally just threw a water balloon at me and left. :lol:

For the most part though Alton's kind of reminds me of the forum, in the sense of diversity that you run into. You come across a little of everything out there. There's buying, selling, chatting, yobabies, people goofing off, new players, old players, "rich" people, "poor" people, etc etc. It's a real mix and you never really know what you're going to get when you go out there. That's what I like about it.

^ exactly that. if you have a bad experience at altons, it doesnt mean thats going to happen every time. i get plenty of giggles there, so i will always be a regular out on the streets :mrgreen:

I just got back from a visit to Altons to see the new decorations. A person whose name is slang for women's genitals. Another whose sentences were peppered with the magic word. Another who was swearing in Spanish. Probably won't need to visit again for another 5 years.

... I live on an island and that's normal dressing day in day out...Everyone wears swimsuits, just throw a t-shirt over it if ur goin to the store shopping etc.
