i agree you've got a great point BUT i also wanna make the point of imagine starting today. It's different than it would be starting in 08, 09, 10, 11, 12... It's changed drastically. Things are sky high in price. And even coin items in the stores are pretty high, so I do cut noobs some slack! :)

Agreed. For a noob to get 30k that would require them going to "work" 4 times a day for more then 2 months. If they want 100k ? That is pretty impossible for a noob. That's why I don't thing YW will get very many new players.

;) By helping themselves, that would at this point include playing those jobs games where the suitcase is... as right now there aren't so many ways to earn energy to earn coin. They are working on that & eventually that will be better... meanwhile if anyone chooses to help someone new in the game, great! ...

There are lots more ways to earn coins now though. A noobs best first move is getting neighbours. With 50 neighbours you get CEO of the factory, add in your 4 neighbours and thats 1800 coins every time you go to work. You can also do the jobs, which give you coins AND energy which can also be used to work in the factory! You can play tic tac toe and go to the race track. You can even earn yocash for leveling up! It is hard now, but it was hard for all of us when we started. Took me 2 months to save up for my first ranch house.

I totally agree and the nostalgia we feel for when we started reflect the love for that simpler time. Enjoy while you can!

I agree that it is tougher for a New Yo, compared to when some of us started. The factory pay definitely needs to be raised... and possibly new ways to earn coins. I also agree that half the fun was earning my way to that first 100k or my first mil. What an accomplishment!!! Took me years to hit 1mil...

So no... I do not think they should be just handed everything on a silver platter. I do however, love gifting items to new players. Or to any player! :D

But not to the one's who ask!

 Wishlist is one thing... but outright asking and begging on threads or in events... or in our inbox??? IMO is just in poor taste, and says a lot about the person.

From experience i can say that it is so hard to either start over or begin in this game these days. It was a lot easier and more fun back in '08.
Also I think a lot of beginners wanna be rich quick because so many are picked on for being "noobs" and if they have expensive clothes on they don't get picked on as much.

I totally agree there. I remember when I started back in 2009. Yo rates were around 400:1 and I made 200 coins each factory visit. Now I make the top rate but YC rates seem to be at least 10,000:1.

Without the silver chests and keys, it will be very hard for new players to get established - especially if they are youngsters who cannot afford to buy much YoCash.

If I was starting afresh now I would find it very hard.

I have been in this game for many years and NEVER seen anyone being picked on. I think a few incidents probably occurred and were blown out of proportion so we would feel sorry for losers and support them. I have never seen so many beggars as I have this year. They feel entitled to have what I am wearing. I have one question of management. They are not being nice to me with all this begging. Why can't I tell them which direction to go in without getting in trouble?

I wonder how many of the new accounts are really new people to the game. We really need to get the profiles back so we can see who is who in this game.

I was a noob for 3 days.....I pulled out the credit card.....became a Yocash dealer @ 5:1 (remember those days?...lol) and was rich within a week

In todays Yo economy 10 bucks gets you 55 yocash @ 20:1 = 1,100,000 yocoins

Totally agree. It was hard for EVERYONE when they first started. People need to remember a LOT of players that claim/claimed to be "Noobs" were NOT new players but older players running a scam to get more stuff. We OLDer players have become very wary of the whole "I'm new give me stuff" crap. Just because they are poor doesn't make it my responsiblity to help them to get rich quick. Work for the items you want like most people. Just like in real life...just because someone wants my stuff, doesn't mean I have to GIVE it to them.

I quit the game, about 3 yrs ago, and here's what I noticed when I came back.

When I joined yoville I received my apartment, and was able to decorate it quite nicely, from the coins I earned at the sweets factory. Items where cheaper, there was very little for yc,I think just the one or two themes like velvet and louis or something. I forget.

You could literally decorate a whole house for a few thousand coins. Yes most of those items are still available. But what new player is gonna know how to find all that cheap stuff at the back of the store - in amongst all the stuff that is not available any longer they will soon give up. Plus its crappy to whats available to us now. The new furinture alone, most of it is over 1500 coins per item. and then the basics are yc.. like couches/sofa's and chairs. IT is a totally different economy now. To when I started. Honestly. I myself if i was a newb, would back out the door. Or become a beggar

I agree. I have spent real money and lots to get where I am today. Buying and selling. I wasn't rich in 2008-2009 when I played on Myspace. I worked my way up over the years. It wasn't until 2012 I bought my first 2008 costume! :) Was a great moment and still worth it!

The best advice for these newcomers is to buy yocash,go to the auction house and buy cheap rares. Fastest way to become wealthy. i made 1m when i sold 5 08 female nurse for 200k. Theres also other ways as people have mentioned.
