Wondering if anyone knows if it will be fixed eventually?

From what I understand they have no intention of bringing the VIP store back. To do so and offer it's contents to everyone, meaning those who didn't pay for VIP, would cause a serious uprising.

I hope they don't bring it back, all items should be available to everyone, wasn't that the point of releasing all the items not everyone got the chance to buy, VIP is just the same, imo

It would be nice if they re-released those items to everyone then, js.

What I don't get as if that the theme is still in stores why cant the VIP section be available to those who had VIP before the transfer. Just in the same way that the current stores are available for those before and after the transfer. Now that would be a nice perk for those who paid for VIP.

No it wouldn't. VIP members paid a monthly fee and exclusive items were part of that agreement. Everyone had the chance to join the VIP program...

Not the same as unreleased items at all.

Everyone had the chance to buy VIP.

Making the choice not to pay for VIP (for whatever reason), doesn't negate the fact if you had of paid for it - they would have been freely available to you.

It would. Especially given how zynga basically stopped supporting additional content for it towards the end.

For most part...we could get them anyway. My friends who had VIP would buy items for me. Anyway, this wasn't to start a debate...loool Was just a question about items on there that I would like to find...Wasn't sure if they were going to do VIP again or not. If they were, I was going to wait to buy these items, but since their not....I'll be looking for them.

Yep.... that's a good point too!!

BVG would lose money and the game would close..When Zynga had the Vip I stopped buying yocash..To me everyone is VIP.

I don't see a problem with bringing back VIP as long as it's on the same terms as before - the items are available to those who are willing to sign up and pay a monthly fee - so no, it wouldn't be available to everyone.

I agree just because there are lots of items I would have bought as a gold supporter for most of the duration of the program-but the items weren't leaving stores. So when VIP disappeared and we assumed the game was ending, a lot of VIP holders missed things. I doubt there's very many corset umbrellas in game, for example. So I can see hackers trying to put these items in game-they'll become the menorah hats of tomorrow. Plus, it's been hard to even ascertain what items are in the program. As an example of this, desert island VIP purple and white shell clothing with headband and purse were in VIP. Desert island has yet to close out, but these VIP items have disappeared altogether. Yorehab forgot to include them under VIP clothing 2013.

Which is partly why in the end, it wasn't really a success.
