Step 1: Hang Out

• Every day, complete Hang Out tasks to earn a free item and a token
• Optional bonus challenges will give you gems, too

Step 2: Participate in Challenges

• Enter on the first day of each challenge
• Each challenge has requirements that must be met before submitting
• Meet the optional criteria to earn a rating boost!
• You can leave and come back to your creation at any time before submitting - be sure to come back before the deadline to hit the button so you're eligible for voting! (No edits will be permitted after submitting. If you start an entry but don't submit it, your items will be returned to your inventory no more than 24 hours after the end of that challenge)
• One default room will be available for decorating and two default outfits to choose from, male or female, when dressing up the Yo
• To vote, come back on the second day of each challenge
• You'll earn gems for voting a minimum of five times, but you can keep voting past that if you wish
• Collect results on the third day of each challenge. Your star rating is calculated based on how other YoFans have voted
• Any rating boosts will be added to your voting score
• Prizes for these challenges may include gems, YoCash, or even silver tokens! (More about these in Step 3 below)
• At the end of the event, all items used for your submissions are yours to keep
• Items and rooms will be given at the end of each challenge
• Outfit slots can be claimed at the end of the event

Step 3: Get Rewards!

• Open event chests using your gems
• These chests contain existing in-store items as well as new California Summer-themed items
• You'll receive one common item from the wooden chest, or one rare-or-better item from the mega chest
• To guarantee one brand new EAU2019 event exclusive item, take advantage of the magic chest! (These exclusive items are also available in the other two chests)
• Click on any unlocked item in the rewards tab to see the item name
• Silver tokens unlock even more cool prizes - your silver token progress can be seen at the top of the event pop-up
• You can trade YoCash for gems if you want to open more chests
• Check back frequently for updated daily deals and new tier deals!

NEW This Event!

• Submission troubles got you down? Worry no more with the new Submission Confirmation pop-up!
• Once you've perfected your design and clicked "Submit", you'll be presented with a confirmation window
• Your completed room or outfit should appear in this pop-up


• If your completed design is showing and is correct, go ahead and click "Submit" to enter your design


• If your design is incorrect or not showing at all, clicking "Report Problem" will send all relevant information to our team for them to diagnose what may have happened
• This will help us fine-tune the submission process going forward to make the entire submission and voting experience better for everyone!


• Once the report has been automatically submitted, you can try to submit your design again, hopefully with a better outcome!
• The new Submission Confirmation applies to both Decor and Costume challenges!

As a Reminder...

• The Summer Daze Event will be running from Aug 13th at 4:00 PM ET to Sept 13th 4:00 PM ET
• Each day begins at 4 pm ET, which is now 20:00 game time (UTC)

I am just here for my usual rant about the icon. Vikings, I have been asking for months about making it go away if we dont want to play along. I sent in a ticket and felt that I was fobbed off. Is there any chance of this being presented to whatever team is in charge of icon placement? Please consider making it go away. It is a huge source of irritation and usually so much more so after being without it for a few days and seeing how nice my room looks without it.

Will we EVER be able to connect these challenge rooms to our regular rooms/avenues?

Tying it to the in store themed stuff is good. Someone is paying attention.

Staggering the timing to line up with Halloween is also very smart.

Gem Events will always be the wrong way to deliver content. They abuse our desire for items and trick people into false hope. These emotions create a negative experience for most players, and it wears them down when it comes to their enjoyment of Yo. People participate, because they want the stuff and/or the coins they get for selling it. But they are mostly NOT HAPPY in doing so. They'd rather buy what they want from you. You continue to ignore this reality, and I sincerely hope it doesn't hurt the game in the long run. A few more people I play with every month are learning to just stay away. Eventually they all will.

I'll probably whore myself out for your Halloween gem event and hate myself and the event for forcing me into it. If you are looking for a "good job" or an "attaboy", go talk to your Marketing team. They are all probably frothing with excitement over this - while the majority of your players are worn out and frustrated. You just don't get it yet. You will.

I checked out the exclusive items for this event, and to be honest they are not really something to write home about...

That is not what you think that means, Pix. It means there is something to do daily - collect gems, open chests etc. You will not be doing it all each day.

OiHuzzy, you have to go to the gem icon on bottom left and follow instructions. If you do the challenge you will be taken to where you get the room to decorate and just follow instructions presented.

I could not find it in the database either, does someone have a link, maybe BVG decided not to include it, as I cannot think what I might want, still sun burned from the last eau2 event, and to be quite frank, I literally hope I have passed on before BVG does another beach theme.

Search for EAU2019 on the YoWorld.net site (on the others it takes longer for the items to appear).
