Lets stay together in the fight against Long Covid and all other invisible Illness

Okay this is definitely a favourite :haha:

I remember people saying "We are the middle children of history. Born too late to explore earth, born too early to explore space" and yet we don't understand most of the complexity of our own human body - these diseases above a clearly a testament to that.

Thank you for joining the fight against Long Covid and all the invisible illnesses Susanne!

Hi Vasilis,
Thank you for this contest and spreading the awareness. :rose:
A person who is very close to my heart is having this condition and I feel that they think that I don't understand how they feel.
To be honest its a shame that our society has made the long covid patients feel that way! My outfit is basically a representation of what I understand how you feel (Maybe I am wrong). I want you to know that, maybe not completely but partly I do feel the pain of all the long covid patients and following are the feelings that I have covered in my outfit,

1) The feeling of being trapped indoors.
2) The feeling of ripping your heart out because it is just difficult at times
3) The feeling of frustration, 'This is my Christmas and Thanksgiving now!'
4) The feeling of 'Clock is always ticking'
5) Last but not the least, The feeling of 'Science is not enough for this and just hoping to find a genie who would fix this broken world and bring back the old normal'
:heartbroken: :heartbroken: :'( :'(

Everyone has a book of their life with a story to tell and you definitely have one to share! My dear Vas, my heart goes out to you and everyone who has to go through this unfurtunate situation. :( I want you to know that I am not here for no prize , I am here to fully support; some way and somehow help spread awareness. :rose: I pray with all my soul that awareness is spread world wide in hopes to find answers and a cure to finally bring peace to you and all who are suffering this terrible illness. Much love to you my friend

Hey Vasilis,
Thanks for sharing your story with us and this contest. I was one of the fortunate ones who did not contract covid! :'( And If I did, I probably don't know but I remember never getting sick. I truly hope that you can recover fully from this horrible sickness and feel your normal self again.
Best of luck to you my friend.

Here's my entry.

I'm almost done gifting all of the wonderful Yos who participated. Along with your gift, there's a Long Covid poster you can use to further help bring awareness to this new disease.

If you do place it in your room, please post a picture here. It would make me really happy to see it.
