How do I make some home properties private and not accessible for visitors?

Click on your HOMES icon
Choose your home, click OPTIONS
Upper Right Hand Corner it will have an "EYE" with MAKE HOME PRIVATE. CLICK. The EYE will blink closed.

When they are private people go there and they are empty. Right? They can still go to the home only they do not see anything.. Is this correct?

As far as I know, the home will not show up on your homes list for others. It just "doesnt exist" for them.

The only home that cannot be hidden is your apartment. So, for some, even longtime players, that is the only home that you will see when you click on their avatar. They have any others hidden from viewing.

I have visitors coming into my closed eye homes and complimenting me on items in there. SO I dont think that is case.
I have questions now concerning that due to that.
If it is your default home and your eye is closed it will send that person back to their apartment then right?
WHat about neighbors or buddies or strangers. Does it tag a difference to these elements?
I remember with Zynga.
The beginning player did not see it all when visiting a room. Many things did not show up for them. I thought maybe it was hidden as I was not that level yet. duh. not knowing that.

I clicked your signature and I can still see your stuff in your apartment. (is that your apartment?). I could see all your plushies in the shape of "YO"

TO Abbs Yowaii, you have to click on the NAME of your house not the picture otherwise it will just send you to your home, hope this helps

anyone can go to your apartment. It cannot be set to private.
