as I left the game for 2 years, I don't know how VIP works, could you tell me please ?

There are a few things in the game with vip . are you talking about the section in the auction house called vip ? those are just random items that Zynga made that are supposed to be fancy . and they got put in their own fancy section in the auction house . there is VIP sign in the furniture store that has been there for over 6 years .and that does nothing really . and there was a VIP program where you paid monthly and got weekly rewards . Bvg is making a VIP program . And on the 48th podcast they said it would be out soon .

The VIP program is where players paid a monthly or bi weekly fee for exclusive items in their own store and no other player could recieve as a gift, borrow, wear, sell buy or trade. At first it was one program which would include furnitures and wearables.
Later Zynga made 2 programs, one for wearables and one for furniture. Players had a choice of being in the VIP for one or the other or both.
Players got a gold round sticker in their rooms which said VIP. The VIP programs main objective was to promote the game and through players who spent. Later they allowed the VIP to trade and buy with one another If you were a VIP you could buy furniture for another VIP even if you were not in the Furniture VIP. Therefore for some who payed "double to have both the VIP for furniture and wearables were ripped out of their items by other VIP who did not pay into that program to have it.
Zynga allowed a lot of VIP items to be sold and traded later or they made items nearly the same as what the VIP's had, thus this made the ones who paid a fortune to be ripped off.
You Paid for the VIP and again you paid to shop in VIP Stores.
That was insane because the VIP paid 4 times around. Within a year and a half the game closed but not till after they got much of the players moneys.
They also made items fast so it pressured the VIPS to spend or lose out.
The players got a "free hair and some free items for being VIPs"

Aarnold is right, there was a VIP theme which came from the Super Saturday sale in 2010, I have some items from the VIP theme.

there was also of course the VIP section for each themes in the furniture store. Check yorehab.

in 2010 ? oups ! I was on the game in this time, spending a lot of real funds (I mean really a lot ....) but was never advertised about VIP :-(

Just because a person does not see a lot of VIP items does not mean there is not a lot of VIP in the game.
VIP's have the ability to not allow eveyone to see the items.
EYES closed.. Plus when there was the . com. PRIVATE!
Simply put there is a whole lot of VIP items in this game, only you do not know about it.
There were entire teams buying the VIP in whole lots with spares to share. Some VIP's bought entire themes, every single item. Just because you do not see it does not mean there is very few in the game. Maybe people do not see it because many VIP's hide their status now due to harrasment, stalking, beggers, scammers. I am not even talking about 1 super Saturday Sale.
People who were VIP's got VIP items for 3 years not just on 1 Super Saturday.
