This is one solution I tried: When the next "Facebook Permissions" request box pops up to confirm permissions for YoWorld, click "allow" for all permissions except for the friend list. I denied permission for the friend list and this action blocked the Facebook connection to the YoWorld buddy list. This was excellent because the Facebook symbol next to the buddies on the buddy list disappeared and I was able to delete all of the Facebook "friends" who have not played for years that have different names for Yo and FB. The only drawback could possibly be not getting hotdogs for 3 months until the next "confirm permissions" box pops up. But, for me, as a long term YoWorld player, it's a small price to pay to get rid of all of the dead accounts. I deleted 300, so, it was worth it. There is also a chance that if I don't delete all of the "added extra friends" on my Facebook page, and at the end of 3 months I click "allow" on the "friends list" on the next FB permisson box pop up, the "dead players may pop back up on my buddy list with the FB symbol again. Hmmm.......We'll have to see how that that goes. I will post an update when that time comes around again. Until then, please share your knowledge and thoughts on this YoWorld wide dilemma. HAGYD!

Facebook has recently changed how they require apps to ask permission for your profile details. Some of you may have been asked to confirm your permissions when you tried to enter YoWorld in the last month. (April 2018)

Facebook now requires apps using their platform (i.e. YoWorld) to confirm these permissions every 90 days. This means we will be confirming your permissions settings every 3 months or so going forward.

• Friend list: Your friend list is what lets YoWorld recognize your neighbors. This allows us to include them in your Buddy List, use them for Factory promotions and Hot Dogs, and other systems.
