I was wondering if someone can tell me is it possible to sell a house back, or the only option is to delete it?

Sadly can't be sold, gifted or traded. So, keep or delete are your only options...

I kind of thought so, because I don't see it as an option. I am using the Gothic manor for leveling up and I accumulated many of those, but I do not intend to keep them.

You can delete houses and then all the items go back into your inventory but you can't sell houses to other players or get any coins back upon deleting a house.
