Really gutted, but thought i'd turn this misery into helping other people!

I've only been here a month & I know some of the scams around so I avoid SO MANY. But I went to a girl called "Danielle"''s event & she said to everyone "give me your own prices" for the cars. So I said that I'd give her my yellow backpack (I think I bought it for like 300k? something like that?) so I asked for this pink limousine and paid her 12k too, and then she put in this monaco pink limousine and I took ages to click agree and I was like "I'm pretty sure its not the same" but I was like "don't make a fuss, just buy it it's probably the item" . So I just took it home and its furniture..................... I had no idea that they existed! It's called "Monaco Stretch Limo Pink" so please be careful.

I don't care about the backpack, I just want to make sure that nobody falls for this too, as it was pretty similar in the trade & only when I took it home I realised it wasn't rideable. It's a pretty cute car lol, with a accidental big price tag! So just be careful  *note to self: trust no-one selling cars lmao*

If you watch and see if you can find her listing another Event, maybe you can go and tell her what happened? Its very possible that she got mixed up w/ her inventory. We all know how long it takes to load them and w/ ppl wanting to buy, the event can get pretty hectic. If i saw the title Monaco Stretch limo pink, I would think I had the car too! Its possible she made a mistake. Never know?

I'll keep you guys updated, I hadn't considered that she might have just put in the wrong item so fair play if she did, but if it was a genuine scam I'll hunt her down

Ugh...sorry that happened to you.

I remember on the old forums, people were suggesting that Z name similarly made items...with different names. Too many people were falling prey to scams like this.
Maybe a suggestion to BVG will help alleviate issues like this in the future.
