BVG are still new as owners. I think they released that statement too early. A lot of decorators are asking for it as an easier way to decorate. It's not about begging for items, but it's just not fun to decorate anymore when every lamp, table, chair is impossible to find. And you can't check it in edit mode. It will take ages to create one room of a discontinued theme, let alone a house. Takes out of the fun of decorating.

It's not too late to restate their re-releases point of view. They can say something like "After in-depth investigation, we would like to help our decorators".

Maybe some will leave because they won't trust BVG, regarding a statement that they won't re-release wearables and furniture collectibles. However, I doubt it would be a massive amount of people leaving. It's not like they actually re-release the 2008 costumes etc. I think people can understand that BVG are still new at this, and still learning the wants of players of all kinds. There's a need to benefit not just collectors and buyers/sellers, but decorators too.

Yeah. A lot of people said that if Zynga re-released things that they would quit... some did but many were still here and many new players came along.

If you go read Garys post. He more or less said that what they've released so far and re-released was stuff they got tons of e-mails about. So if we all get together and bombard them with e-mails wanting some of the items that we all missed back. They might just change their minds.

Yes. why let players have a chance at getting help with their real problems, when you can bombard them with emails because you dont feel like looking for the items you want

The funny thing is you're not going to have people bombard their box with don't re-release this or that because they stated no re-releases. So the only ones that their counting on are the ones that they get saying pls bring this back pls bring that back. And then most are giving them false information when they do write into them. By saying this item was only out for a few seconds. When in all reality they didn't even start the same year the item came out and it's all hearsay what bvg is going by. I talked to one of the bvg guys awhile back and told him I hope you don't go by what people are telling you on what's unreleased and what's short time. Or even for how long items were released for.

And I got a message back stating they don't just take one persons word for it. The thing is not many people still play from back in those days that even remember when it was released or what or for how long it was released. I've seen several players that were from 09 that claim they bought the Cross and them saying it was out for such and such a time. All of it is hearsay. I just don't believe in going by hearsay.

Just like the Cat clock. It was out for a week. I did play at this time. I bought my cat clock while in store. Now if people were to write bvg and say the cat clock was only in the stores for less then 5 minutes. That's what they'd be going by.

I just don't see hearsay as being fair.

If they dont have time to save up is that a valid excuse for BVG to hand everything to them and slap the people who did save up in the face? Again. People will quit becuase of re-releases, no one will quit because they can't afford an item.

I never cared much for the Celtic Cross, but many would debate it was accidental release, meaning it wasn't really released officially in the first place for it to be re-released...

Why should some get slapped and others not? I don't get that. People saved and saved for those Crosses. That doesn't seem to matter to you or anyone else who wanted it so easily. It was a legit item. There was no reason for it to be re-released. Not everyone has a chance to get everything in this game. And tons of people saved and really put in a lot of effort for the Cross and what happens it gets re-released. Why is it ok for those people to take a big loss and not for others?

it's not about how many coins or searching, or 08 customes (I've had them all at one time or another) it is deeper... But most importantly a great way for BVG to end the debate and allow us all to enjoy the "New Game"

I had two Celtic Crosses. One I received as a gift from a friend and the other one I bought a week or so ago because I had the thought, "... what if they don't re-release them?". I then, out of the blue, sold the cross I had bought a week ago for how much I had bought it for originally... I feel bad for the person I sold to now. :?

I didn't lose anything on the Cross but it still makes me mad that it was re-released... and now I think that it's only fair if other things are re-released too... :?
