I am so tired of those who want everything re-released or given to them, I could and have spit, many times. I actually read someplace that those who quit the game in 2012 and came back recently want everything that was put in game while they were gone added back in! Those of us who bought vip and continued in game despite freezing, hacking etc. just need to suck it up and not make a fuss. Let me tell you I will make a fuss until I quit this game. And enough with the constant BigV please release or re-release this!

Huh? Say that again?
I know that a few are yelling for re-releases, but it's falling on deaf ears. Let them yell and beg and plead. I just ignore them. It's much easier than trying to reason with them.

I am not sure what you are saying "Huh?" about. I have been ignoring them. When I saw them going for the black cat clock, I decided it was time to speak out. And I did and Viking John said it will not be re-released. I personally think re-release threads should go into suggestions and not be on discussions at all.

LOL...I was asking about fussing. You said we need to suck it up and NOT make a fuss, THEN you said, LET ME TELL YOU I WILL MAKE A FUSS....so are we gonna fuss or not?
I'm just picking at you , but I truly didn't understand those two statements... :?

As they say...you get out of something what you put into it. Many people have spent thousands of dollars in real money over the years to build their homes full of rares and collectibles and have duly paid for them. The constant disdain displayed by some on this forum towards those players and suggestions that their wealth should be removed to level the playing field annoys me to no end. If you are playing this game you have full control over what you will and won't have based on the decision to pay or not pay to play and if people have played and payed for years to obtain an abundance of asset in their collectibles and other items over the years ....good for them! They deserve the wealth they have paid for fair and square and most I know have helped countless people get started in the game and done more than their fair share of good deeds too!

As for the shark hat> I have both and I much prefer the new one, there is simply no comparison! Really excited to see what is coming next :)

I agree with you Rod. I'm one who left for 2 years and then came back. First thing I noticed was the higher prices but it didn't take long for me to realize that I could sell some of my old stuff for higher thus evening it all out if that makes sense?

As for other comments I've seen about returning players... I don't want re-releases of the stuff I missed. If there is anything I want, then I will save up for it and buy it from events or the AH. I'm saying this cause there can be a lot of negative generalizations about returning players.

I wonder what your Yo net worth needs to be to make it into the Yo one percent club. I'm guessing more than 100 million.

I've often wondered what my little collection of pixels is worth.......... but I'm far too lazy to figure it out. So, I'll just keep wondering I guess.

you guys use big words... but youre right. owners of rares and 08 stuff need not fear that the value of the items will change drastically esp now that BVG already clarify their take on these stuff. granted that most of the releases on "unreleased" items did affect the prices of those items, the value of collectibles and 08 costumes remained stable.

Yo is like real life :!: You wouldn't go into a new job and expect to have the same salary as someone that has been there for a decade?! Or buy your 1st house and go right to the top level in the market, unless you won the lottery  Yo is no different, you work your way up and pay your dues ;)

I have said it before and I will say it again, no one in this game will ever be on the same level. It has nothing to do with being rich or poor (before people get upset ;) ) What you have in this game is dependent on a lot of factors:

* how much time you spend playing
* do you spend money to play?
* length of time playing
* how you play (decorator, fashionista, trader or social butterfly)
* spending habits (do you buy only a few things from a theme or the whole theme)

I could go on but that is the basic idea......I don't expect to have the things that people who started before me or spent more money than me have, I don't know why it is such a hard concept for some to grasp. You get out what you put in this game. You can not expect that if you haven't put in the time to earn coins or even buy yocash that you will have the same "wealth" as someone who did.......

I don't think the prices are going to fall as low as some hope they will. The fact is, there are old items in this game that people will always want. If BVG stays true to their word and don't re-release old themes, then there will always be things that have a higher value. Players will just have to accept that they either need to save to buy those things or hope that BVG puts out an item closely related or just do without.

Expectation management is not a commodity in Yo these days. Every rumor is FACT now. LOL

who has lied about what items?
