I think we all have vastly different definitions of these terms we're using and therein lies the problem.

Yes, I shall give a few.
A certain few people have made comments in reference to a certain group of individuals: Here are a couple things said from a couple different people and I will not post names for obvious reasons...
1. "There are "those people" who want to turn this Forum into old forums"
2. "That group of trolls should simply not be acknowledged"
I would consider those to be baiting statements as everyone knows who they are in reference to, and at the time none of "those people" had even made an appearance on those threads...

Here's an example for you, for someone who doesn't know the history between Mr rain and me, they would think me as a snippy person specially when he so innocently claims he's making reference to a Tina Turner song when in reality he's saying "be good to me or else" that's bait I believe it's still about who's posting more than the actual content of the post and the reports on this person.

In all my years of being a forum member, I am not one to get in trouble because I am able to moderate my own behavior and in the times when I have read things that made me upset or angry, I had the good sense to walk away. Having said that, I just sat here and tried to think of a situation where someone was TRULY bullied. I can not think of one.
Were there situations that people have been called out for having alts and using those alts to play head games? Yup.
Were beggers called out on the forum? Yup.
Did scammers and hackers get told things they didn't want to hear about their behavior? Yup
Was baiting pointed out when some players were trying to get a rise out of others? Yup.
Did players speak up when those who faked illness and death to gain pixels were found out? Yup.
There are many, many more situations to list, but the point is there are no victims. There are many who want to play victim when they are called out for their behavior, but they give as much as they get. If you don't want conflicts, then don't create them. Take ownership of your own behavior and realize that people will speak up when you are caught being manipulative. That does not make them bullies any more than it makes you a victim.
If perhaps I missed a real case of a player being bullied on here I would love for someone to PM that situation to me. I think if people are honest with themselves though, they will realize how they contributed to the very drama they claim to hate.

I can absolutely guarantee that we are not talking about the same people. Everyone had a right to start this forum fresh, with new names, buried hatchets and the like. I've seen just that too! It was heartwarming and refreshing!
The posters I'm talking about didn't hesitate to out who people were in a former forum life and are continuing the same modus operandi of bait and taunt and then cry bully and report and victimize themselves. I'm hoping they will be seen for what they contribute to the situation and that those who have strong opinions aren't penalized for expressing them respectfully even though they may not coincide with those who feel another way.
I can't see anyone being banned for just expressing their opinion.
Gary is clearly calling out people being insulting and hostile towards othersL "as of late we've noticed a worrying trend of people being hostile, insulting or aggressive towards other users, including belittling them, calling them out for no reason or just generally being mean to them."
" If you post with the intent of being mean about someone, either directly or indirectly, you may lose your forum access."

I will give you one.....the other night a forum member was having a "dispute" with a few others about moving on and leaving things in the past. This same person made a post referencing another forum member who was not involved, but previously had some disputes with the people this member was fighting with. They didn't name them, but it was CLEARLY directed to the other player. The sad thing about it was that person has moved on and let it go. I have no problem with the person who baited the other player personally, but I did think it wasn't necessary at all to try to cause further problems between players.
I won't judge them for what they did. I guess in the heat of the moment, we do and say things that aren't the best choices. My point is, you can not behave and act like others are being bullies and ganging up on you when you engage in the very same behavior.
I apologize in advance if the post is confusing. I won't use names.

People can debate things without resorting to an attack on a person's character.
