I have a rather wealthy yo friend who hangs out at Altons a fair bit. She does this to listen to the conversations meet new people, and when she comes across a genuine new person. She helps them out, gifts them hairs and things. So no its not all about showing off. It can also be about helping others. SHAME ON HER i guess. What a horrible person she is.

I don't know if you'd class me in the 'super rich' category or not (because I own a few items of good value) but I like to talk to new people and possibly meet brand new players. Usually, if it's someone's first day playing YoWorld I'll give them a gift or 2 and some coins to help them on their way. That's usually what I go to Altons for but if not, I like to poke fun of the REAL super rich and how seriously they take the game when I come across them at Altons. All in good spirits and light hearted of course!

Super rich??? you mean by people wearing the odd 08 and holding bow.....9 times out of 10 when you click on them they have no homes, only the apartment and it is empty.

How exactly do you even know they are "super rich" with all the FG clothing that was not removed from game? just because a person dresses in starter doesnt mean they are a newbie either. I wear starter or "normal" clothes as much and anything else.
you can certainly not tell if a person is rich or poor by clothing and really, what they heck does it even matter how many coins they have. it's just pixels.
