What do i do to get housing discounts? Do you have to level up to a certain level? Or, do you have to have so many Yo points? Or, Do you have to complete decorating a certain amount of rooms to get a discount on buying a house at the realtor office?

Need some help as to how to get the discounts. Thanks to anyone that can explain to me.

You get a housing discount if you level up 3 rooms in a house to level 10 .
If the house you decide to level up and get the discount from already has 3 rooms to level 10 ,then it wont work .
you get the discount from leveling up the first 3 rooms in a house to level 10 . You may have to buy a trailer if you already leveled up all your rooms . But if you are using the discount on a cash house it would be worth it. because yocash is expensive .

My mistake has been not leveling up the first 3 rooms right off the bat in whatever house i buy. I just started playing again this summer after being gone for a couple of years. So much has changed. And, I never did understand this part. No wonder when i started finishing off my old homes i didn't get a discount.

I'm off to buy a trailer to see how it works. I want to buy some homes that you have to use yocash on ... and your right... they our expensive. That's why i needed to know how to get the discount.

There is no time limit , It is just 3 rooms . And you can level up rooms by using stuff in your inventory that is labeled new . Or you can buy stuff out of the store . 15k worth of stuff levels it up to 10 . So if you are planning on buying stuff to put in the house you need the discount for .You can buy some of it before you get the house and use those items to level up your rooms . Then just put them in your new house when you get it .

I am not sure if this is fixed but some were saying in the forum they did not get their discounts.
To prevent this from happening make sure you are directly at the realtor office. It seems to happen if you go to the home to check out home and from in there purchase it.
It only applied directly at the realtor office.

November 27, 2017... Need help again, please.

Can someone answer my question? I just finished my 3rd room in my ranch house... but, I didn't get a discount for another house to buy. Actually I finished two rooms and the front yard. Does completing the front yard count as a room to get the house discount???
