Has anything been re-released yet? I'm growing bored.

Maybe we can get the entirety of the 08 costumes.

Pete, I do realize that you believe re-releasing stuff is a good idea for the economy. I just don't believe it would help. It didn't help when Z did it.
What will help the economy is people spending some of their own money . i do not believe this game can survive if people do not buy yocash. People use re-releasing to ultimately bolster their income when they sell the re-released stuff. I saw it happen. I am watching it happen right now.
Big V will put new items and clothing up for sale. People will buy yocash and others will buy yocash items from them and so on and so forth. We need to allow that process to take place.
I find it interesting that we are seeing more and more of this type of thread as we get closer to what might be a release of new goods. People have to realize they cannot continue playing this game on the backs of the rest of us. They have to do something other than buy and sell high priced goods in order to get what they want of new stuff.
Many people bought f/g items and while they paid less than what the real things would cost, they are stuck with that stuff and cannot resell it. They are looking for a way to make a quick buck. To them I say don't try to make the rest of us who did not do that pay for your mistakes.

I'm sure BVG learned how good re-releases can be with the unintentional re-release of the Jaguar, Dalmatian and Poodle. I know several people who went out and bought yocash just to purchase them.

And you say the best way for the game to survive is people buying their own yocash right?

Look at the Groovy/MvP/Burlesque re-releases - many of the yc items from those themes multiplied in quantity in game from it. How? It got people to open their wallets.

For every person who refuses to open their wallet ever again because of a re-release there's many more who will to get those items.

I'm still waiting for the 09 re-release of a few 08 costumes to ruin this game or the release of the sparklers or the release of the lettermans. Here we are 5 years later and, yup, still here. Oddly enough many people affected by those three situations are still here too.

The Fg items were another story. Some even get a little upset that bvg is going to make away for others to tell who has real and who has fake. I can't wait for this to happen.

How is that spot on?

As I said, I know several people who bought yocash just to get the jaguars that were unintentionally re-released. And some of those people ended up buying 10+ jags in total either by their own money spent or someone else's money spent on yocash.

I'm willing to bet the most profit BVG has made on this game was due to that "unintentional mistake."

People love to claim that re-releases are terrible and people just want something for nothing. Well many of these items that are sought after were yocash to begin with and even with a re-release someone needs to spend their real money for a person to acquire more of them.

Well, duh... because BVG hasn't released any of their own things yet!

What about in the long run? What happens when they open the vault (lol) and re-release all the themes out there? Then what? People will spend a lot more money on the game if they don't re-release things because they will need a way to make enough coins to get that "sought after" item.

Zynga already took it upon themselves to re-release a whole bunch of themes. I don't think any more re-releases would be necessary. It would just be nice to see new stuff vs old. I would much rather see what BVG comes up with than wait on a re-release of things we've all already been able buy in store.
