the timer is on 00:00 in AH you are the current highest bidder in fact sometimes you are the only bidder and you still get out bid :shock:

The AH is on an actual timer that has a full minute left when it hits 00. I have found that if I monitor that last 60 seconds and refresh with 15 seconds left and then make my final bid, I win what I want every single time.

To make sure you win an item you have to be online in the AH and sniper bid after the counter hits 00:00. I have won a few items in the 60 seconds after the timer hits 0.

yup i have my phone in hand, when i see 15 mins (for example) left, i keep restarting the auction house until the 15 turns to 14 then i set my timer for 14:45 secs, and when it beeps i bid for the last time, i win every time too

I hate it more when the timer expires - yet i'm still waiting to win.. I hate it even more when it sticks at 00.00 for like 5 mins. and you are the highest bidder, then suddenly it closes and you lost.. But here's the kicker, ya don't know you lost till ya refersh..

yep i refresh it all the time actually furniture isn't too bad clothing seems to be the worst for it
LoL I am not setting a timer on my phone take me 1/2 a hour to work out how :lol:

and yep I just bid like way more on a zen item than I should be finished by now but just bought a zen sectional "buy out" for 80k and the zen standing 3x art for 10k so yeah is all good

even if I don't win the bid I got some other stuff crossed off my list

Yessssss! I wish those timers were actually 'live' like I have my AH open on my screen and I see the timer counting hh.mm.ss That would be awesome. Having to close and reopen the AH window every 2 seconds to see hm time left is frustrating. Especially at 00.00 we need to see those seconds LIVE.

Don't refresh the entire page, when that timer hits 0, just close the AH popup and open it again and go to your "My Bids >Bidding" tab. If you are still the highest bidder close the AH and open it again and go back to the bidding tab. If you see you are outbid then bid higher, close the ah, open again etc. Opening and closing the AH will refresh it. You can do this many times during the last 60 seconds.

It becomes more difficult when you are bidding on 4 items and all of them end at the same time. It's almost impossible to sniper bid on 4 items against other people and win them all.
